Skylar Grey’s ‘Invisible’ Hits The Jukebox

Standard

Holly Brook has already had a great stint in the music business, but she’s out for more. After changing her stage name to be Skylar Grey it seems that every hip hop artist wanted to work with Grey.

You may know her soft voice from Dr. Dre and Eminem’s “I Need A Doctor” which she performed with Dre and Em at the 2011 Grammy Awards. Grey has also been featured on Diddy Dirty Money’s “Coming Home” and Fort Minor’s “Where’d You Go” among others.

Those collaborations gave her the start she needed to break out on her own. Now Grey has her very own music in the HitPredictor jukebox. It’s the title track of her upcoming album, “Invisible.” Check it out and tell us what you think!

No official release date has been set for Grey’s album but you can get your fix of her when she performs live at Lollapalooza on August 6.

Wiz Khalifa’s “Black and Yellow” Wins No. 1 spot on Hot 100

Standard

Consider it a consolation prize for the Steelers not winning the Super Bowl as Wiz Khalifa wins the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 with his song “Black and Yellow” jumping up from 4 to 1.

“Black and Yellow” outshines Bruno Mar’s “Grenade” (1-2) after four nonconsecutive weeks at the top. “Firework” by Katy Perry holds strong at No. 3.

It was predicted that P!nk’s “F**kin’ Perfect” would be in the No. 1 spot this week nut instead it dips to No. 4.

Here are rest of the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100:

  • No. 5 – Dr. Dre’s “I Need a Doctor,” featuring Eminem and Skylar Grey
