Sade is back on top of the Billboard 200 albums chart this week, nearly 10 years after the group’s last studio effort, with Soldier of Love selling 502,000 copies according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Billboard.com reported that Soldier of Love gives Sade its first No. 1 debut along with its best sales week since 1991, when SoundScan began tracking sales. It is also the best sales week for a group album since AC/DC’s Black Ice was released in November 2008, selling 784,000 copies in its first week on the charts.

Soldier of Love is Sade’s second No. 1 album, with its first being Promise, which spent two weeks at the top of the chart in 1986, according to Billboard.com.   The new album is also the first studio effort from the band since Lovers Rock was released in November 2000. That set debuted and peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 with 370,000 sold in its first week.
