Matt Talks A Day To Remember

Hey Music Lovers, since seeing the end of 2010 we have also lost our guest bloggers DJ Lilly and Nina *tear* SO… I have a new guest blogger for you: Matt. He is crazy passionate about new music and loves going to shows. In Matt’s own words…”My life is surrounded by music to say the least. I attend quite a few shows/concerts, am actively involved in my local music scene, and am constantly searching for new bands.”

In just a few years, A Day To Remember has become an unstoppable force in the music scene. Exploding from their home town of Ocala, Florida, their electric mix of pop-punk and heavy breakdowns brought fans of both styles by surprise. First gaining attention with their Victory Record’s debut For Those Who Have Heart in 2007, they reached #17 on Billboard’s Top Heatseekers chart. Followed by relentless touring and promotion, the follow up album Homesick was released in 2008, at #1 on the Top Independent Albums chart.

With three music video’s debuting on MTV including leading single “The Downfall of Us All,” all that was left to conquer was the radio. They found success on their latest album What Separates Me From You. Single “All I Want” has been playing on repeat across the active rock airwaves, drawing more people to their ever increasing fan base. It’s not just about mass popularity with these guys though, they know their roots and treat their followers like gold. Not to mention their concerts are filled with good vibes, beach balls, and fierce mosh pits.
