We all got a scare last month when Adele went in for throat surgery, and thankfully it was successful. This week she was nominated for multiple Grammys, including Song, Record and Album of the Year, after her album remained #1 on the Billboard Top 200 Album for over 3 months. Now she’s on her 3rd single, “Set Fire To The Rain” which is already a hit in England and is now this week’s HitPredictor at Mainstream Top 40.

Drake collaborates with Young Money label head Lil Wayne on his latest hit, where they talk about what famous rhyme masters do best: go out and live a great, fun life, ’cause they’re rich and famous! DUH, guys. “The Motto” is this week’s sole HitPredictor at Rhythmic.

Last Month American R&B legend Mary J Blige released My Life II… The Journey Continues (Act 1), the tenth studio album by Blige, created as the sequel to her 1994 album My Life. The album boasts a who’s who list of producers and features artists including Kanye West, Jay Z Timbaland, Alicia Keys, and Maxwell. The second single from it, “Mr Wrong” is an Urban HitPredictor this week.

Rachel Platten has traveled the world from London to Stockholm, Los Angeles and back home to New York City to make her first album, Be Here and she’s on tour this month opening for different acts like The Fray, Gavin Degraw, and David Cook. Her new single “1,000 Ships” is a Hot AC HitPredictor this week.

It took 7 albums before Staind decided to use their name as the title of an album. It’s a return to Staind’s heavier sound and is the last album to feature original drummer Jon Wysock. The second single is “Eyes Wide Open” and it’s this week’s Active Rock HitPredictor.
