J. Cole To Embark On World Tour, Single ‘Work Out’ In Jukebox Now

Newcomer and newly signed Roc Nation artist J. Cole has been one very busy man. After releasing a mixtape in 2007 called Friday Night Lights landed him much buzz in the hip-hop world, he got a spot on Rihanna’s LOUD tour this summer.

He is the first MC to be signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation and was featured on Jay’s The Blueprint 3 on the aptly titled “A Star Is Born.” Cole recently rocked the stage at Yankees Stadium with Jay and Eminem as part of their joint “Home & Home” tour.

Now his mostly self-produced debut album, Cole World: The Sideline Story” will be released on September 27 and all the rest of us will get to see, and hear, what makes J. Cole tick. The lead single from his album, “Work Out” is in the jukebox right now.

He also recently announced dates for headlining his world tour “Cole World: World Tourkicking” which kicked off in Vancouver on August 23. US dates are as follows:
