Kelly Rowland wowed everyone a month ago at the 2011 BET Awards when she performed “Motivation,” which is taken from her third studio album Here I Am. The new Remix of the song is getting a lot of buzz from radio programmers and it’s a HitPredictor at Mainstream Top 40 this week.

Otis is back! Jay-Z and Kanye West have resurrected Redding’s spirit on a new track off their highly anticipated Watch The Throne LP, which opens with a slowed-down refrain lifted from Redding’s 1966 version of “Try a Little Tenderness.” The album is due later this month but “Otis” is a Rhythmic HitPredictor as well as an Urban HitPredictor this week.

Whole lotta Marvin going on with this week’s Urban HitPredictor. On “Marvin’s Room” from his upcoming album Take Care, Drake spends the first half of the track drunk dialing an ex-girlfriend in an effort to win her back, then switches to rapper mode, addressing his ex while dwelling on still-adjusting to his new life of fame. Detroit MC Big Sean is hyped up for his rookie album, Finally Famous which debuted at #3 on the Billboard albums chart, behind BeyoncĂ© and Adele, who held the #1 and #2 spots, respectively. The second single from the album is “Marvin & Chardonnay” and they are both HitPredictors at Urban this week.

No one thought 2011 could top Katy Perry’s last few years, but she has broken all sorts of records with her album Teenage Dream. With multiple hit singles from her last 2 albums she has been in the Top 10 for 48 straight weeks, breaking Ace Of Base’s record. She just received 9 VMA nominations from MTV, and her latest hit “Last Friday Night” is a Mainstream AC HitPredictor.

Alan Jackson is one of the most successful and respected singer-songwriters in music. He’s sold nearly 60-million albums worldwide, topped the country singles charts 35 times, and scored more than fifty Top 10 hits. “Long Way To Go” from his forthcoming album, due out this fall is a Country HitPredictor.

Incubus started the two-month North American leg of their world tour in July. Their latest album If Not Now, When? recently debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 albums, and the 2nd single from that album “Promises Promises” is an Alternative HitPredictor this week.

Jacksonville’s post-grunge band Cold was formed in 1996. The first official single from their fifth album Superfiction is “Wicked World,” which is an Active Rock HitPredictor this week.
