Demi Lovato, Pia Toscano Release New Singles, In Jukebox Now

Two young stars, two beautiful voices, two different tracks – Demi Lovato and Pia Toscano both dropped singles today.

Lovato’s “Skyscaper” reveals the struggles the teen star went through in a recent stint in rehab over a personal issue. Demi sings about “catching teardrops in my hand,” but her strength allows to keep “rising from the ground, like a skyscraper.”

The “Skyscraper” music video, directed by Mark Pellington, is set to premiere on E! News at 7 pm EST on Wednesday. The single precedes Lovato’s forthcoming third album, the follow-up to 2009’s “Here We Go Again” that is set for a fall release on Hollywood Records.

Next, Season 10 American Idol contestant, Pia Toscano, who was abruptly voted off in the shocker of the season has also released a single, “This Time,” showing that their is life after Fox’s hit singing competition. Like so many other songs out there, Toscano’s “This Time” is about getting stronger after a break-up.
