Talk about a superstar hiphop group, you have Eminem rappin with Detroit’s Royce Da 5′ 9″, along with the sweet vocals of Bruno Mars“Lighters” by Bad Meets Evil ft. Bruno Mars is a match made in Heaven, producing one of the highest HitPredictor Mainstream Top 40 scores in many years.

Rihanna goes back to her Caribbean roots for Rhythmic HitPredictor, with her latest single “Man Down.” She says it comes from “me trying to achieve that. I’m super inspired by reggae music [and it] has been a part of me since I was born. The special thing in that song is the fact that it’s a female singing those lyrics, then you have that reggae thing and the chant; the overall energy in that song is so gangsta.”

Everyone is talking about Katy Perry’s amazing new video for “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)”, where she debuts her geeky alter ego, Kathy Beth Terry. It’s inspired by real life events involving her friend and co-writer, Bonnie McKee in which they went to a local club in Santa Barbara and danced until they died, then brought the party back to the hotel room for a night of debauchery. Both Rihanna and Katy Perry are Rhythmic HitPredictors this week.

The amazing Jennifer Hudson, Weightwatcher spokesperson, is set to resume her movie career portraying Winnie Mandela in the upcoming biopic, Winnie. The second single from her second album, “No One Gonna Love You” is an Urban HitPredictor this week.

Buffalo’s John Rzeznik and the Goo Goo Dolls are back with their latest hit, “All That You Are” from the soundtrack to Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Host, label owner and spokesperson for Kodak, Armando Christian Pérez, also known as Pitbull, is no doubt one of the most successful artists of the past 2 years. His former Mainstream Top 40 & Rhythmic HitPredictor is now a Hot AC HitPredictor this week.

Lady Gaga is certainly known to have a big heart and give back. This Saturday night she put on a spectacular show in Japan to aid victims of the country’s earthquake and tsunami disaster where she was sure to perform new single, “Edge Of Glory.” That song is traveling back across the world to us to be a HitPredictor this week at Mainstream AC.

At the age of 19, Brantley Gilbert was involved in a nearly-fatal car accident on Route 129 in GA. Afterwards he wrote about that experience and it became his first hit single “Halfway to Heaven”. He’s since written several hits for other acts including “My Kind of Party” for Jason Aldean. This week he has his own HitPredictor with “Country Must Be Country Wide.” Darius Rucker continues to sing about his roots in his 2nd country album Charleston SC, and his 3rd single from it is “I Got Nothin.” Both songs are Country HitPredictors this week.

Muskegon Michigan Rockers Pop Evil were formed from pieces of other Michigan bands in 2001. Originally known as TenFive, they are now on their 2nd album War of Angels. They debuted an acoustic version of their new Active Rock HitPredictor “Monster You Made” on the “Love Sponge Show.”
