Wilco Releases New Single: ‘I Might’

Wilco headlined their own Solid Sound Festival in North Adams, Mass. this past weekend where they sold a 7-inch vinyl version of their new single, “I Might,” which is the first taste of their new album, The Whole Love, due out in September.

Frontman Jeff Tweedy is doing what he does best by melding fuzzy pop with Americana and packing punch into each lyric and melodic turn on the organ-accentuated country stomper, says Billboard.

The B-side of the single is a cover of Nick Lowe‘s “I Love My Label,” an apt choice considering the band recently severed ties with the major label system and formed their own record company, dBpm, with distribution by ANTI-.
