Lindsay Lohan Due In Court for Probation Violation
She’s done it again. Lindsay Lohan reportedly violated the terms of her probation which could have her facing jail time. The decision will be decided today (June 23) in a Los Angeles court.
According to TMZ, the 24-year-old actress tested positive for alcohol earlier this month and could be facing additional jail time if the probation department has its way. The gossip site reported that Lohan was tested twice last week for drugs and alcohol and that unnamed sources said she tested positive for alcohol on one of the tests and negative on another; both were reportedly negative for drugs. One of the tests is reported to have taken place after a rooftop barbecue party Lohan had at her condo for friends on June 12.
Sean Kingston Released From Hospital
Sean Kingston is well on his way to recovery reports MTV. The pop singer has been released from Jackson Memorial Hospital, three weeks after he was admitted for injuries stemming from a jet-ski accident in Miami Beach over the Memorial Day weekend.
Nirvana’s ‘Nevermind’ Getting 20th Anniversary Re-Release
Billboard got word that Nirvana’s label, Universal, is planning to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the band’s classic album “Nevermind” with a reissue. The revamped “Nevermind” will include rare songs, b-sides and unreleased recordings spread out over four CDs and a DVD. The album, which sold 30 million copies worldwide, turns 20 on September 24 and the reissue will come out on September 19.
‘Glee’ Co-Creator Says No Guest Stars Next Season
On the heels of his announcement that the current cast of Glee will graduate after next season, Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy said there will be no guest stars — a la Gwyneth Paltrow — in season three, reports TV Line. Murphy also said that there will be fewer songs. While that may seem counter-intuitive for a show about competitive singing, Murphy said that the upcoming season would be “all about the stories and the characters.”
