Sunday night, the MTV Movie Awards aired on MTV. While there was some sexual humor from “Saturday Night Live” funny man Jason Sudeikis, a rockin’ musical performance by the Foo Fighters, and Arnold Schwarzenegger illegitimate-kid jokes, but the largest amount of time was taken by “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” movie and it’s cast.

The movie was nominated for eight awards and went home with five. It won for Best Movie for the third year in a row, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart won Best Kiss (which Rob chose to celebrate with a kiss to Taylor Lautner instead of real-life girlfriend, Stewart). Stewart and Pattinson also won for best female and best male performances, respectively. Pattinson won an additional prize for best fight — sharing the tub of gold popcorn with Bryce Dallas Howard and Xavier Samuel.

Speaking of “Twilight,” a sneak peek of the fourth installment, “Breaking Dawn” was aired on last night’s show. Special footage of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2” which comes out July 15 and “Super 8” which hits theaters this Friday, June 10 were shown, as well.

Justin Bieber won Best Jaw-Dropping Moment for his “Never Say Never: 3D” concert film. The Biebs was on hand to thank his family, director, and fans.

Now to the humor…

Host Jason Sudeikis made Selena Gomez blush when he made a suggestive joke about her and boyfriend, Justin Bieber. The comic also brought up the situation of Blake Lively’s nude photos that have surfaced on the internet. When Sudeikis introduced her as a presenter he said, “what I believe is the real Blake Lively, but she won’t confirm it.”

Winner of the Generation award for all of her success in genre-spanning-box-office hits, Reese Witherspoon, also addressed the nude picture/sex tape business when she accepted her award. “I just want to say to all the girls out there, I know it’s cool to be bad. I get it … but it’s also possible to make it in Hollywood without a reality show,” Witherspoon said to a cheering audience. She continued, “When I came up in this business, if you made a sex tape, you were embarrassed, you hid it under your bed … and, like, if you took naked pictures of yourself on your cell phone, you hide your face, people!”

In closing, the actress thanked MTV for years of support and all of the fans who had made it possible for her to live out her life-long dream.

The Foo Fighters performed their new tune “Walk” (which will be in the jukebox soon) and Lupe Fiasco brought down the house with the debut of “Out of My Head” ft. Trey Songz who was on stage to assist. Fiasco did his “The Show Goes On” from Lasers as well.

The series is told primarily from Bella’s point of view, with the epilogue of Eclipse and Part II of Breaking Dawn being told from the viewpoint of character Jacob Black, a werewolf. The unpublished Midnight Sun is a retelling of the first book, Twilight, from Edward Cullen’s point of view. ..
