Starting May 9 on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” is Bob Marley tribute week to honor the 30th anniversary of the reggae singer’s death.
His oldest son, Ziggy will kick off the week by talking about his dad and performing. May 10th Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell will perform, Jennifer Hudson on May 11th, Jakob Dylan on the 12th, and Lenny Kravitz on the 13th.
The songs that will be performed have not been announced and there is no word on how the show’s band, the Roots, will be involved.
Anheuser-Busch is sponsoring the week and Universal Music Enterprise will be promoting its recent release of Marley’s final concert held at the Stanley Theatre in Pittsburgh, Pa., on Sept. 23, 1980.
