‘American Idol’ Casey Abrams Booted, Tour Dates Announced

On last night’s “American Idol” results show, Casey Abrams was the contestant sent packing!

When it was time for the results host, Ryan Seacrest pulled each contestant up to the stage in random order. Haley Reinhart was immediately safe. He then brought up Scotty McCreery and teased of his fate. Not revealing anything about McCreery, Lauren Alaina was called to center stage and teased as well. The the same thing with Abrams. Right before a commercial break, Abrams was actually sent back to the couch, seemingly to safety. Jacob Lusk and James Durbin were waved to safety instantly and eventually Alaina was also.

That left Casey Abrams along with Scotty McCreery, center stage and waiting for their fate.

Now Abrams is free to do what he said he was going to after his ending on the show: “work hard and do everything I can to get myself out there and bring jazz back.”

The show also had Bruno Mars who performed “The Lazy Song” and Season 9 runner-up Crystal Bowersox who sang nitty gritty rock and roll song “Ridin’ With the Radio.”

  1. Yes, America got it right sending Casey home. We got it right the first time we “sent him home” but the Judges used their save. Which in my opinion was way too early.
