Adele Still Holding on to No. 1 Spot Atop Billboard 200

Brit star Adele holds on to her No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 with 168,000 copies sold this week.

“With a little over 520,000 sold in two weeks, “21” has swiftly become the year’s best selling album — and the only set to shift more than a half-million units thus far. It started last week at No. 1 with 352,000 — immediately ranking it as the year’s second biggest seller behind Mumford & Sons’ “Sigh No More.” With another 168,000 this week, “21” jumps ahead of “Sigh” by 74,000,” reports Billboard.

Coming in a close second is Marsha Ambrosius with her debut solo set, “Late Nights & Early Mornings” (96,000).

The rest of the top 10 on the Billboard 200 looks like this:

  • No. 3 – Mumford & Sons “Sigh No More”

  • No. 5 – “Now 37”
  • No. 6 – Dropkick Murphys “Going Out Of Style”

  • No. 8 – Bieber’s “My World 2.0”
