Indie-pop band Eisley is coming out with their new album The Valley on March 1, but you can hear the whole album right now on SPIN.com.
This will be the Tyler, Texas family band’s newest album since their 2007 Combinations. The DuPrees family says that the new project chronicles a failed marriage and a broken engagement among other things.
“There’s a sense of self-empowerment in the lyrics, and sometimes downright desperation,” says Stacy DuPree, the band’s lead singer and songwriter alongside her sister Sherri told SPIN. “I couldn’t help but want to throw myself into these songs and try to make a point about letting something very painful go, and in the process gaining strength and being able to walk away.”
