Blake Griffin Slam Dunks Over Car to R. Kelly’s “Fly”

Standard

I know this tiny picture looks kind of unbelievable so watch the video below. This is basketball player and All-Star rookie, Blake Griffin at the NBA’s 2011 Slam Dunk Contest that was held Saturday night (Feb.  19). Griffin pulled an amazing stunt at the contest by jumping over a Kia sedan and dunking the basketball while being led by a choir singing R. Kelly’s “I Believe I Can Fly.” The moment the choir started singing reminded me of watching Space Jam starring Michael Jordan. Anyone remember that movie circa 1996?!

Anyway, here is the amazing Blake Griffin dunking over a car…

How awesome is that?! Charles Barkley did point out that anyone dunking from that distance would naturally have to jump that high but Griffin still made it look really good, don’t you think?
