Grammys 2011 Predictions: How Did You Do?

Standard

Last week, I put several polls on HitPredictor to see who y’all thought was going to win in some of the biggest Grammy awards categories! Well the results are in, and let me just say, y’all are really good at predictions! 3 out of the 5 polls I posted correctly predicted the winner of the Grammy for that category.

Out of the two polls you didn’t get right, one was an epic fail. And I’m sure y’all know which one that is. The Best New Artist Category, which no one else saw coming either, is where you incorrectly predicted the winner. You guys actually picked every other nominee before the actual winner, Esperanza Spalding. You put Drake first, then Justin Bieber, Florence & The Machine, Mumford & Sons, and finally Esperanza Spalding.

The categories where you correctly predicted the winners were: Best Male Pop Vocal Performance which was won by Bruno Mars “Just The Way You Are,” Best Female Pop Vocal Performance where the Grammy was taken home by Lady Gaga for “Bad Romance,” and Record of the Year whom Lady Antebellum won for their track “Need You Now.”

The other category were y’all incorrectly predicted the winner was Song of the Year. Y’all said that Eminem’s “Love The Way You Lie” ft. Rihanna was going to win. You did, however, have Lady Antebellum in second place and of course they were the real winners, again with “Need You Now” so all together, y’all did pretty great as these predictions!!
