This week, Pearl Jam announced an upcoming spring tour that will kick off May 3 in Kansas City, hit eleven different cities over the course of three weeks throughout the Midwest and East Coast, and wrap with two shows at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
The Seattle-based band will be largely performing songs from their latest release Backspacer. SPIN Magazine reports that Band of Horses will be the opening act for most of the tour, and will be releasing their third album, Infinite Arms on May 18. The one date Band of Horses will miss, May 20, the Blues-rockers group the Black Keys will fill in.
