Adam Levine’s Duet with Xtina, Collabs with Gym Class Heroes

Maroon 5 frontman, Adam Levine has been very busy lately. On top of being one of the coach’s for NBC’s hit singing competition, “The Voice,” Adam has been spending quality time in the studio with some pretty cool people.

First, there is his fellow judge/coach of “The Voice,” Christina Aguilera. Aguilera revealed in her US Weekly cover story that she and Levine recorded a duet together. “We have a great relationship. It’s a big lovefest,” Aguilera said, most likely in response to the playful on-air fighting between the two. We may see more really great collaborations from “The Voice” as the four coaches have bonded during filming. Xtina has previously done a duet with Cee-Lo Green for the “Masquerade” soundtrack, but it was never released.

Not much more is known of the duet but hopefully we will hear it soon. Maybe on “The Voice”?

Another one of those “cool people” I mentioned earlier is actually a bunch of cool people; the band Gym Class Heroes. Lead guy, Travie McCoy went and did his solo thing for a while, but now the group is releasing a new single off their upcoming album and it features Adam Levine. This guy is popping up everywhere!

The single, called “Stereo Hearts,” finds Levine crooning the chorus “My heart’s a stereo — it beats for you, so listen close,” while McCoy raps about serenading that one perfect girl and choosing love over grudges. “Stereo Hearts” is the first single off “The Papercut Chronicles II,” which is expected to drop this fall.
