Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve show to feature 1.5 hours of musical performances
Fergie will be assisting Dick Clark and his New Year’s Rockin’ Eve show Dec. 31 by hosting the West Coast countdown for the second straight row.
While Dick Clark and Ryan Seacrest handle the East Coast countdown to the ball dropping in New York’s Times Square, Fergie will host the show from Los Angeles.
The show will feature one and a half hours of performances from both New York City and Los Angeles. Among the artists slated to perform are Drake, Jennifer Hudson, Ne-Yo, Avril Lavigne, Train, La Roux, Far East Movement, Jason Derulo, La Roux, Mike Posner, Willow Smith, and Natasha Bendingfield.
Funny woman Jenny McCarthy will be new to the lineup this year, and is slated to join Seacrest in Times Square.
The show will air live at 10 p.m. EST December 31 on ABC.
